The over / under conveyor layout allows for multiple pallets to be utilized while taking up less plant floor space. Axle assembly consists of mounting the left, center and right axle assemblies including all other components. Once pressed and assembled the components are precisely welded in place.

Battery Stacking and battery installation are performed using robots and list assists.

Fori can design and build or refurbish ammunition loading lines. All quality assurance, controls, software integration and troubleshooting are managed by the Fori system. The system assembles 1,200 to 1,600 bullets per minute per line.

    

The cockpit is assembled on the hoist / platform. It is moved to the gluing station where a robot precisely glues the components together. Once complete the hoist / platform moves to the Installation area.

    

Ergonomic lift assists, customized end effectors, semi or fully automatic fastening, full turn key supplier.

    

Prior to fastening a component verification procedure is completed. This ensures the parts are all present and in the correct position. The speakers are fastened at this point, but the locks are not fastened until the lock test has been performed.

    

The Assembly System consists of a palletized main conveyor loop with over 20 work, assembly and test stations along the line.

    

Fori’s AGC’s move the engine station to station while final dressing components are added / secured. The autonomous carts allow 360º access to the assembly.

    

Frame component are assembled and welded, conveyors move the assembly and they are robotically stacked for shipping or delivery. Up to 3 frame types at one time can be stacked twelve high for rail car shipment.

Robotic part stacking and removal. The robot end effector contains a color vision camera and the system can determine differences in the components and adjusts pressure and size accordingly to secure, lift and move the components.

    

Robots install the roof strengthening system.

    

All axis will be in full coordination with each other and compensate for the actual linear application rate of the weather strip as the robot speeds up or slows down.

    

Fori’s customized fixtures allow the robot to precisely install the sunroof into the vehicle while moving at line speed.

    

The assembly lines can be arranged in various layouts including; closed loop conveyor systems, over and under, parallel, in-line, rectangular, accumulating slat, belt, indexing slat, palletized and non palletized conveyor systems.

    

Sunroof is assembled in stations using ergonomic tooling.

    

Turret assembly and testing platform allows floor & overhead access to the turret. Interchangeable race bearings provide flexible turret assembly. The raised ring, portable integrated turret basket lifting carts, &portable lower ergo platforms provide operators access above and below the turret assembly.

    

The folding pallets are automatically opened and positioned for robotic palletizing, the filled pallet is then automatically labeled before it is conveyed to the Forklift unload station. The end result is a configurable local solution adapted to the individual plant requirements.

    

The Fori wheel cover system presses, transfers and palletizes the covers.

    

Laser Lines are cast over specific areas and cameras “see” if the parts are in the correct location.
